Rachel Zhang

Rachel Zhang currently serves as the Managing Director of the SystemX Alliance at Stanford University's School of Engineering since March 2025. Additionally, Rachel is a Founding Partner at Reaction, an organization dedicated to creating exponential change through a global community of entrepreneurs and investors. Previously, Rachel held the position of CMO at a stealth startup focused on generative AI and served as the Head of Global Marketing for Alibaba Group's Cross Border B2B & B2C eCommerce from July 2018 to December 2021. Rachel's experience also includes strategic roles at Ant Group, where impressive achievements included the implementation of Alipay's global partnership initiatives, and leadership at Ayla Networks, contributing to its status as a leading IoT platform provider in China. Rachel's earlier career comprised key marketing and business development positions at Microchip Technology Inc. and SST, backed by advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University and a Stanford Executive Program EMBA.
