Steven Huang

Steven Huang is an experienced researcher and leader with a strong background in molecular biology and community service. Currently serving as a Dodd Lab Research Intern at Stanford University, Steven utilizes MultiGeneBlast to analyze anaerobic gut bacteria for uric acid metabolizing genes and constructs phylogenetic trees for scientific publication. Concurrently, Steven holds a leadership role within the American Red Cross, guiding youth volunteerism nationally and facilitating local community education on first aid and emergency preparedness. With additional roles in curriculum development for UCSF Health and involvement in educational initiatives at UC Berkeley, Steven demonstrates a commitment to healthcare and biological sciences while fostering volunteer engagement and leadership.
