Amir Rohani serves as the Sr Divisional IP Counsel for the Power Tool Group and Advanced Technology at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc., since June 2010. Rohani leads the intellectual property team, developing strategies for key brands such as DeWalt® and managing a diverse patent portfolio that includes innovations in power tools, outdoor products, and advanced technologies. Prior to this role, Rohani has held positions at Morrison & Foerster LLP and Venable LLP as an associate, handling patent applications in various technical fields and supporting high-stakes litigation. Rohani's early career included engineering roles at Texas Instruments and Qualcomm, as well as managing web development at Applied Information Technologies, Inc. Rohani holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
