VP, Finance Transformation at Stanley Black & Decker

STEVE BRODRICK leads Transformation & Performance Resiliency for Stanley Black & Decker, driving transformational initiatives across businesses and functions.

Steve joined Stanley Black & Decker in 2001 as FP&A manager at STANLEY Access Technologies. He then assumed a transformational role in Mac Tools, before becoming CFO and COO of CST Berger, a newly acquired business. Steve then moved on to lead Corporate FP&A, which included integrating FP&A during the merger of Stanley with BLACK + DECKER. Following the successful integration, he was appointed CFO, Global Industrial and Automotive Repair, serving in this international assignment for two years before transitioning to acting CFO, Security North America.

Steve then assumed full responsibility for an expanded role within Corporate FP&A, including Global Shared Services and Functional Transformation, Technology & Automation in 2018, as well as Finance responsibility for the Oil & Gas and Infrastructure businesses. He was also appointed to lead the Performance Resiliency initiative across the company, working with value stream leaders and global functions to identify, sequence and execute profit-enhancing ideas to create $300M - $500M in profit margin.

Prior to joining Stanley Black & Decker, Steve held financial management positions with United Technologies Corp., a technology product and service company.

Steve holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Bentley University and an Executive MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
