George Mitri

George Mitri is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and management in the automotive industry. Currently, Mitri serves as the Founder and CEO of Mecca Innovation and Technology, a role held since January 2024. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Stant from February 2020 to present involved various leadership roles in technical product development for BEV products. Mitri has held positions at Yapp USA Automotive Systems, Inc., and Windsor Mold Inc., where responsibilities included quality engineering and tooling design. Additional experience includes roles as a product design engineer at Black Widow Gear, lead project engineer at the University of Windsor, and various internships, showcasing a robust career trajectory supported by a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechanical, Automotive & Materials Engineering from the University of Windsor.
