Gugulethu Majakajaka

Gugulethu Majakajaka's work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Commercial Accountant - Generation at Stanwell Corporation Limited, which they started in March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Graduate Student at Curtin University from July 2018 to March 2021.

Their previous experience includes various roles at Eskom, starting with Finance Manager from July 2011 to July 2018, where they led and managed the financial planning process at the site and provided strategic support for decision-making. They also worked as a Finance Manager from March 2008 to June 2011, responsible for short and medium-term financial planning. Gugulethu held the position of Senior Management Accountant from October 2005 to February 2008, preparing budgets, cost assessments, and financial reports. Additionally, they worked as a Project Accountant from November 2002 to September 2005, providing project accounting guidance and supporting capital expenditure requests.

Gugulethu Majakajaka completed a Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting at Curtin University in 2019. Before that, from 2000 to 2001, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Accounting, Taxation, Auditing, and Costing from the University of Zululand. Prior to their tertiary education, Gugulethu attended Dlangezwa High School, where they studied Commerce. Additionally, Gugulethu obtained an Associate Membership from CPA Australia in April 2020.
