Karthikeyan Nadarajan

Karthikeyan Nadarajan has a diverse work experience in the mining industry. Karthikeyan is currently working as a Senior Mining Engineer at Stanwell Corporation Limited since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the role of Manager - Technical Services and Principal Mining Engineer at Batchfire Resources from June 2021 to October 2022, and as a Technical Services Superintendent at Peabody Energy from April 2019 to April 2020. Karthikeyan also worked as a Senior Mining Engineer at MEC Mining from August 2012 to December 2012 and as an Engineer Planning - Open Pit at BHP Billiton from March 2011 to June 2012. Earlier in their career, they served as a Long Term Mine Planning Engineer at ERA, Rio Tinto from January 2011 to March 2011, and as a Mining Engineer from December 2008 to December 2010. Karthikeyan started their career as a Graduate Mine Planning Engineer at Bemax Resources from November 2007 to November 2008.

Karthikeyan Nadarajan has a strong educational background in engineering. Karthikeyan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering at Anna University from 2002 to 2006. Following this, they pursued a Graduate Diploma of Engineering in Mining Engineering at Federation University Australia from 2007 to 2008. Karthikeyan then went on to obtain a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Mining Engineering from the University of Ballarat in 2008 to 2009.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Karthikeyan Nadarajan has acquired several certifications relevant to their field. Karthikeyan became a Shotfirer certified by the Department of Natural Resources and Mines (Queensland) in June 2014. Karthikeyan obtained the certification of Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (Mining) from The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland in October 2013. Furthermore, they became an MAusIMM CP(Min) certified by AusIMM in September 2013.
