Silvana Poto-Gilbert

Silvana Poto-Gilbert is a seasoned professional in transportation and human resources, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Transportation at Staples Canada since February 2023. With a long-standing tenure at Staples North American Commercial that began in June 2013, Silvana has held the role of Director of Transportation, where responsibilities include managing the delivery of contract and commercial customer orders across fulfillment centers, overseeing fleet operations, and optimizing delivery routes. Additionally, Silvana has been the National Human Resources Manager for Supply Chain at Staples since December 2010, and served as a Senior Employee Relations Representative at FedEx Express from September 1999 to November 2009. Silvana holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from York University, earned between 1992 and 1995.
