Wanda Walkden

Wanda Walkden has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Wanda held the position of Chief Human Resources and Communications Officer at STAPLES Canada in 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Lowe's from 2010 to 2017, where they held various roles including Vice President of Human Resources and Vice President of Operations. At Percepta, they served as Vice President of Global Human Resources from 2003 to 2010. Wanda also worked at Radian Corporation as Vice President of Human Resources from 2001 to 2003 and at Gap Inc. as Senior Manager of HR - Canada from 1998 to 2001.

Wanda Walkden holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University. Wanda has also obtained certificates in Organizational Development and Developing Organizational Capacity from Queen's University, focusing on Labor and Industrial Relations. In addition to their educational background, Wanda has acquired certifications in HR and Compensation Committee Effectiveness from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a CHRL (Certified Human Resources Leader). Wanda is also a CPC (Certified Professional Coach) and an Energy Leadership Index Master Practitioner from iPEC Coaching.
