Jeffrey Moore

Chief Information Security Officer at Staples

Jeffrey Moore has extensive experience in the field of information security. Jeffrey is currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer at Staples since 2022. Previously, Moore held the position of Chief Product Security Officer at Dräger from 2020 to 2022.

Prior to this, Moore worked at Novartis and Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) in various roles. At NIBR, they served as the Global Head of Cyber Security from 2013 to 2020, where they were responsible for all technical security and led a global team. At Novartis, they worked as the Ad interim Novartis Global Head of Security from 2015 to 2016, overseeing all aspects of technical security and leading the creation of a new Security Operations Centre.

Jeffrey'searlier experience includes working at adidas AG from 2005 to 2013, first as a Senior Enterprise Security Manager and later as a Senior Infosec Specialist. Jeffrey was responsible for corporate-wide leadership in information security and managed the company's Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Remediation and Compliance efforts.

Before adidas, Moore worked at BindView as a Senior Professional Services Manager and Senior Technical Consultant from 2003 to 2005. Jeffrey was responsible for managing worldwide professional services engagements and maintaining strong customer relationships.

In addition, they have experience working at Peregrine Systems as an IT Systems Operations and Network Operations Manager for the DACH region from 2002 to 2003, and at Ish GMBH & Co. KG as a Senior Shift Manager of Network Operations on a contract basis from 2001 to 2002. Jeffrey also worked at Telecity as a Manager of Network Operations and Senior Supervisor from 2000 to 2001.

Finally, Moore started their career at the European Space Agency as a Senior Ground Configuration Controller from 1994 to 1996.

Jeffrey Moore obtained a Certificate in Business Engagement and the Information Security Professional program (BESP) from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2017. Additionally, they earned a Certificate in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Blackhat Training, a program in which they were enrolled from 2009 to 2018.
