Tiffany Cummings-McDonald, MSc has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2022, they were appointed as QC Manager at STAQ PHARMA. Prior to that, they worked at Andelyn Biosciences from 2021 as GMP Senior Scientist, where they were responsible for optimizing Adherent platform parameters with focus on cell health for overall yield in virus titer, and acted as subject matter expert for suspension and adherent cell culture in clinical manufacturing facility. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at BioReliance, first as Laboratory Supervisor and then as Associate Scientist III. As Laboratory Supervisor, they managed a team of 6 and was responsible for material ordering for lab during extreme supply chain constraints of 6+ months. As Associate Scientist III, they were responsible for organizing cell line initiations and laboratory scheduling for the GMP lab. Before BioReliance, they worked at The Dow Chemical Company in 2017 as Microbiology Technologist, where they developed reproducible biofilm generation with BSL-2 microbes and removal techniques, tested various biocides on biofilm removal, and maintained BSL-2 microbe streak plates on TSA and R2A media.

Tiffany Cummings-McDonald holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Lehigh University, which they completed in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Biology from Delaware State University in 2013. Tiffany also holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Central State University, which they completed in 2011.
