Alan Gibb

Alan Gibb is an experienced Control System Engineer currently working at Star Refrigeration since May 2020. Previously, Alan held the position of Smart Grid Engineer at Smarter Grid Solutions from June 2019 to May 2020 and started as a Graduate Control Systems Engineer at redT energy plc from July 2018 to June 2019, where responsibilities included writing PLC and HMI software for energy storage solutions. Earlier experience includes working as a Shop Assistant at Sainsbury's from March 2015 to July 2018 and completing an internship as an Electronic Engineer Intern at Mage Control Systems Ltd in the summer of 2017. Alan Gibb earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Hons) in Electrical Electronic & Energy Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University from 2016 to 2018, following an HND in Electronic Engineering at Glasgow Kelvin College from 2014 to 2016.
