Nancy Yang is a seasoned media professional with extensive experience in journalism and audience engagement. Currently serving as the Senior Editor for Audience Engagement at Star Tribune since December 2021, Nancy develops initiatives to enhance audience growth and loyalty while collaborating on editorial priorities. Prior roles include serving as a Diversity Fellow at the Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Digital Editor at Minnesota Public Radio, and National News Editor at Internet Broadcasting. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Minnesota and has participated in leadership programs focused on diversity and inclusion through the Poynter Institute and the News Leaders Association.
