Sara Porter

Sara Porter is an experienced media professional currently serving as the Audience Editor at Star Tribune since September 2022. Prior to this role, Sara worked at MPR News from July 2016 to September 2022 as an Engagement and Distribution Specialist, where responsibilities included audience engagement, implementing news delivery strategies, and creating digital content. Additional experience includes roles as an Associate Digital Producer and Multimedia Producer, managing website content and social media promotion, as well as editing digital videos and photos. Earlier career achievements include working as a Videographer for The UND Marketing Group, contributing to the expansion of the University of North Dakota’s brand reach, and serving as a Feature Reporter and Technical Director at Studio 1, where Sara produced news segments and managed live broadcasts. Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of North Dakota.
