Nickolas Marouchos

Nickolas Marouchos has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to 2022. Nickolas began their career as a Multimedia Designer at McMaster University in 2007. Nickolas then moved on to become a Graduate Student at the Centre for Digital Media at Great Northern Way Campus in 2009. In 2010, they became a Graphic Designer at Moving Media Group, where they were responsible for creating ad mockups, internal proposal templates and promotional materials. Nickolas also worked on developing interactive applications for use on the mobile screens. In 2011, they began working as a Freelance Designer. In 2013, they worked as a Game Design Consultant at Wayward Productions and a Game Design Lead, Senior Game Designer, Game Designer and Junior Game Designer at Wooga. In 2020, they became the Principal Game Designer at 5th Planet Games A/S and in 2022, they were appointed as the Design Director and Lead Game Designer at StarBerry Games.

Nickolas Marouchos obtained a Masters of Digital Media from the Centre for Digital Media in 2011, after completing a BA (hons.) in Multimedia and Communication Studies from McMaster University in 2007.
