Arne Ottens

Arne Ottens is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in solution architecture and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Solution Architect at Starburst since October 2021, Arne previously held roles as a Solution Architect at Talend and a Senior Data Engineer at MapR Technologies. With a comprehensive skill set developed over time, mastery of REST based microservices, team management, and server migrations was demonstrated during a tenure at Lufthansa Systems from September 2008 to December 2015. Arne took a sabbatical in 2016 to enhance self-management abilities, intercultural competencies, and communication skills, while also learning iOS app development and a new language. Arne holds a Master of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik from AKAD University and a Bachelor of Science in Wirtschaftsinformatik from DHBW Mannheim.
