Sophie Barr

Sophie Barr has extensive work experience in the field of media and marketing. Sophie started their career at Walker Media in 2011 as a Planner/Buyer. In 2013, they joined M2M as a Senior Planner/Buyer and later became a Publishing Manager. Sophie then moved to OMD UK in 2016, where they worked as a Comms Planning Manager and later as a Comms Planning Associate Director. In 2017, they joined Starcom as an Associate Director and then progressed to the role of Client Director in 2018. In 2019, they became a Business Director before assuming their current position as the Managing Partner and Head of Paid Media for the One Publicis Team Samsung at Starcom in 2022.

Sophie Barr studied History of Art at the University of Birmingham from 2007 to 2010. Before that, they attended King Edward's School in Bath, focusing on History, English Literature, and French from 2005 to 2007. Sophie's earlier education was at St Swithun's School in Winchester from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they hold an incomplete IPA Advanced Certificate from the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.
