Job description

The Senior Sales Executive (SSE) is responsible for driving revenue in new accounts in a specified territory.  The SSE is expected to exceed all assigned KPIs and Quota and represent the company effectively in the marketplace. The SSE should demonstrate an extremely strong understanding and ability to communicate to the company’s core markets and all the various value propositions for our services.  This is a London based role.

Responsibilities

  • Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and by leveraging industry relationships.
  • Originates, leads and runs all sales meetings and ensures the content of sales presentations address prospect specific needs.  Is a major contributor to all sales meetings.
  • Adheres to all sales processes and commercial policies.
  • Established strategic account plans for key accounts.
  • Orchestrates the entire sales process.
  • Has a deep understanding of each prospects challenges and how we can help address them with our solutions.
  • Handles all aspects of deal negotiation and order processing.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Mandatory Skills, Knowledge or Experience

  • College Degree
  • Highly structured, organized and attentive to detail
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communications skills
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and adeptly manage the sales process
