Danny Holwerda, PMP, PSPO I

Danny Holwerda has a diverse work experience in various roles within the financial services industry. Danny started their career at Computer Transition Services, Inc. as an Application Developer, where they worked on a variety of projects for different clients. Danny then joined United Supermarkets as a Programmer/Analyst, responsible for programming and supporting custom applications. Danny then moved to PlainsCapital Corporation as a Help Desk Administrator, managing the computer help desk department and consolidating Lotus Notes operations. Danny continued their career at PlainsCapital Bank as a Loan Review Analyst, where they identified potential problem loans and prepared analysis reports. Danny then joined Vista Bank as an Information Officer, where they developed the bank's Business Continuity Plan and supervised the implementation of a disaster recovery site. Danny then worked for PROFORMANCE, Inc as a Project Manager, managing relationships with clients and implementing software upgrades. Currently, Danny is working at StarCompliance as the Associate Director, Head of US Professional Services, leading a team of professionals and overseeing software implementations for clients in the financial services industry.

Danny Holwerda earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Texas A&M University, specializing in Business Analysis (MIS). In 2001, they obtained an Amateur Radio License (General) from the Federal Communications Commission. Then, in 2016, they became a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute. Danny further enhanced their credentials by obtaining the Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org in December 2020.
