Alan Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Alan'smost recent role is as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Stardust, a position they have held since August 2020. At Scalent Systems, Inc., they were the VP of Engineering Operations, overseeing infrastructure virtualization software for data centers. At Openwave, they held multiple roles, including VP of Product Technology Group and VP of Product Development and Customer Advocacy for Japan. Alan played a key role in launching the Wireless Access Protocol Forum and was responsible for mobile client, server, and messaging production for the Japan market. Lastly, at IBM/Rational/Pure Software, Alan worked as an Engineering Project Leader, developing tools for C/C++ and Java developers.
