Thannirmalai Somu Muthukaruppan

Thannirmalai Somu Muthukaruppan is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in computer science and electrical engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Engineer at StarFive Technology Co., Ltd. since December 2021, Muthukaruppan previously held the position of Senior Staff Engineer. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Engineer at Huawei Technologies from July 2018 to October 2021, and as a Research Scientist at the Institute of High Performance Computing A*STAR between October 2017 and June 2018. Muthukaruppan also worked as a CPU SoC Architect at Intel Corporation from June 2014 to September 2017 and served as a Research Assistant while pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore, where doctoral studies were completed in 2014.
