Stark County District Library
Marianna DiGiacomo has a diverse work experience in the library field. Marianna started their career in 1984 at the Akron-Summit County Public Library, where they held various positions until 2000. Marianna then joined the Stark County District Library in 2007, initially working as a Youth Services Librarian and later as the Literacy and Event Coordinator until 2013. Marianna then transitioned to the Akron-Summit County Public Library as a Branch Manager from 2013 to 2014. Finally, Marianna returned to the Stark County District Library in 2014 as the Community Services Director, a position they currently hold.
Marianna DiGiacomo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of Akron between 1987 and 1991. Later, they pursued a Master's Degree in Library Science at Kent State University from 1991 to 1992.
