Iliana Smith is a skilled professional with extensive experience in diversity and equity coordination, residential administrative services, and bilingual interpretation. Currently serving as the Diversity and Equity Coordinator at Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery since September 2022, Iliana previously held multiple roles at Walsh University, including Coordinator of Residential Administrative Services and Graduate Hall Coordinator. Iliana has a strong background in language services, having worked as a Spanish interpreter for Lamprey Health Care and the Hartville Migrant Center, where responsibilities included facilitating communication between medical providers and Spanish-speaking patients. Additionally, Iliana has experience in volunteer coordination, education, and customer service. Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery (StarkMHAR) provides funding to behavioral health organizations working in our community. Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery enriches lives through wellness and recovery by partnering with service provider agencies in the areas of mental health and alcohol or drug addiction prevention, intervention and treatment. The volunteer members of the StarkMHAR Board of Directors, as well as staff employed by StarkMHAR, are committed to ensuring all mental health and substance abuse intervention and treatment services are of the highest possible standard for our community of Stark County.
