Melissa Furman

Melissa Furman has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as a Mass Tort Legal Admin Assistant at Stark & Stark since October 2020. Prior to this role, Melissa was a Litigation Assistant at Weitz & Luxenberg PC until being laid off due to the pandemic and has held various positions, including Workers’ Compensation Paralegal and Legal Assistant at several firms. Notable previous roles include being a Wedding Officiant and a Legal Administrative Assistant II at TD, where a significant focus was on supporting attorneys in diverse capacities. Melissa began their career as a Legal Assistant at Jacobs, Schwalbe & Petruzzelli, P.C., developing a strong foundation in workers’ compensation and social security matters. Education was completed at Cittone Institute in 1993.
