Julia Ju Mie Yoon

Julia Ju Mie Yoon has a diverse work experience in various industries. Julia Ju Mie started their career in 2011 with a summer internship at Bogner Haus Sportmoden Vertriebs GmbH, where they organized inventory, conducted trend research, and assisted in quality control. In 2012, they worked as a Sales Associate at Louis Vuitton, where they maintained customer relationships and handled merchandise display and inventory. Julia Ju Mie then moved on to become a Knitwear Designer Assistant at Handsome, Hyundai Department Group in 2015, where they assisted designers in organizing fabrics, materials, and samples. Simultaneously, they started their own venture called Julia Ju Mie Yoon Illustration, where they created editorial illustrations for online and offline magazines. In 2017, they worked as a Design Intern at COTTON + STEEL, assisting fabric pattern designers and managing digital documents. Julia Ju Mie later joined Creative Sourcing Group in 2018 as a Surface Designer, responsible for designing home-goods, apparel, and interior decorations. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Carpet Designer at Ulster Carpets, creating textile patterns for the hospitality and gaming industry. Currently, Julia holds the position of Hospitality Designer at STARK since 2022.

Julia Ju Mie Yoon completed their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fashion/Apparel Design from Ewha Womans University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013.
