Amit Shahar

Amit Shahar serves as the Vice President of Advanced Development at Starkey Hearing Technologies since March 2018, where the focus is on redefining medical wearable devices through advanced sensors and artificial intelligence technologies. Prior to this role, Amit held several key positions at Intel Corporation, including Sr. Director of the Innovation Group, leading the development of products in the sensing and understanding domain, as well as Director of Systems Engineering in Perceptual Computing. Amit's earlier career includes serving as Head of Product Development at Vision Systems International and as Technical Director and R&D Lead at Elbit Systems Ltd, where leadership was provided for various technical and development aspects. Academic credentials include a degree in Industrial & Management Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and a Stanford Advanced Project Management degree from Stanford University.
