Daniel Marquardt

Daniel Marquardt is a Principal DSP Research Engineer at Starkey Hearing since February 2018, with a focus on signal processing, machine learning, and leadership in research and technical consulting. Previously, Daniel held roles as Senior DSP Research Engineer II and I at the same company, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of algorithms for audio and biomedical applications. Before joining Starkey Hearing, Daniel was a Postdoctoral Researcher in Digital Signal Processing at Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg from October 2015 to February 2018. Daniel earned a Dr.-Ing. degree in Digital Audio Signal Processing from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and a Dipl.-Ing. in Media Technology from Technische Universität Ilmenau.
