Martin Jaakola

Martin Jaakola is an accomplished Software Automation Lead Engineer with extensive experience at Starkey Hearing since May 2017, previously holding roles as Software Engineer II and Software Automation Tester II. Prior to this, Martin contributed to UPS in Warehouse Operations from January 2013 to December 2020. Martin also served as a Technical Aide at Andersen Corporation, facilitating mechanical engineering experiments in the Research & Development division. At The Minnesota Daily, Martin excelled as the Editorials and Opinions Editor, managing a team of 16 and receiving the 2015 Spring MDAA Employee Recognition Scholarship for outstanding innovation and management. Martin's early career includes a role as a Publishing Intern at West Academic. Educationally, Martin holds a Master of Science in Software Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, and has studied at the Erasmus School of Economics, earning an IBEB degree.
