Pao Thao

Pao Thao serves as a Supervisor of Electrical Engineering at Starkey Hearing since June 2019, leading the Electroacoustic Engineering team to enhance hearing aid acoustic performance and ensure EMI compliance. Previous roles include Senior Electrical Engineer, where Pao managed the design and development of advanced hearing aid technologies, and Electrical Engineer II, focusing on the entire project lifecycle from design to production. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, an MBA in Leadership and Management from St. Cloud State University, and ongoing pursuit of a Doctor of Engineering at Penn State University. Pao also holds leadership experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and as Vice President of IEEE UMN.
