Marian Veteanu

Marian Veteanu has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Marian is currently serving as a Sr. Product Manager for the Technology Platform at STARLIMS, a role they have held since November 2022. Prior to this, from August 2021 to February 2023, they worked as a Sr. Research Manager at STARLIMS.

From 2010 to 2021, Marian worked at Abbott, initially as a Sr. Research Manager from June to August 2021, and then as an R&D Manager and Product Owner for the AI/STARLIMS Technology Platform. Marian was responsible for making key architecture decisions and managing development activities. During their tenure, Abbott Informatics released versions 11 and 12 of the STARLIMS Technology Platform, featuring low-code HTML5 and mobile application development capabilities.

Before joining Abbott, Marian worked at Starlims Corporation from April 2003 to June 2010 as an R&D Software Engineer specializing in architecture and design for Technology Platform core components. In 1994, they founded their own independent software development company, VMASOFT, where they served as the owner until 2003.

Marian's early experience includes working as a Software Developer at Spectralims from October 1999 to September 2002.

Marian Veteanu obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UPIT in 2001. Following this, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued a Master's degree in Intelligent Communication Systems at Universitatea din Pitești.
