Matthew Salt is an experienced engineering director who has worked in various roles in the financial industry. At Starling Bank, Matthew currently serves as the Engineering Director for Customer Identity & Financial Crime, with previous roles as Engineering Lead in Financial Crime and Senior Software Engineer focusing on developer productivity and tooling. Prior to Starling Bank, Matthew held positions at Citi as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead for Global Spread Products price streaming and as a Senior Developer for EMEA Credit Flow Trading. With a background as a Software Engineer at Commerzbank AGSS and Analyst Programmer at JHC, Matthew brings a wealth of experience in software development and financial services. Matthew graduated from Durham University with a degree in Theoretical Astrophysics.
