Megan Svarich-Knights MSW RSW RDT is a dedicated registered drama therapist currently serving as the Conference Program Co-Chair for the North American Drama Therapy Association since December 2022. In addition, Megan owns The Heart of the Work Therapy Services, providing therapy and clinical supervision to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on reconnecting clients with their inner wisdom. Roles also include registered social worker and psychotherapist at Starling Community Services and workshop facilitator for Theatre of the Beat, employing drama techniques to address social justice themes. Megan holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and is currently pursuing advanced certificates in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, alongside a rich background in various therapeutic and social service roles since 2008.
