Benjamin King has over 20 years of professional experience in the software, technology, and healthcare industries. In 2000, they began their career as a Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2001, they worked as a Biomedical Engineer, MEMS Project Engineer, and MEMS Technician at CardioMEMS, Inc. In 2008, they became the CTO & Co-founder of Voalte Inc. In 2015, they became the CEO & Co-founder of Keep it Simple Technologies, Inc. In 2016, they became the CEO & Founder of HealthSteps, a mobile and digital health platform to improve patient engagement and capture electronic-patient reported outcomes (ePRO). In 2019, they became the Director of Software Development at BACCH Laboratories Inc., where they worked with best-in-every-class 3D audio solutions for high definition audio, mobile, and Virtual Reality. Currently, they are the VP of Software at Starling (YC W22).

Benjamin King attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Benjamin then continued their studies at the same institution from 2003 to 2005, obtaining a Master of Science in Materials Science Engineering.
