Katie O'Brien

Katie O'Brien has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Katie began their career as a Residential Caseworker at The Key Program, Inc in 2014. After that, they joined athenahealth as a Human Resources Support Specialist, where they worked until 2017.

In 2017, Katie became a Technical Talent Acquisition Consultant at FoundHuman, a recruiting consulting company focused on improving the hiring process. Katie provided a range of services including recruiting and talent acquisition consulting until 2018.

Following their time at FoundHuman, Katie worked as a Contract/RPO Technical Recruiter at Brine Group from 2019 to 2019. Katie then joined Brightcove as a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner through Hub Recruiting from 2019 to 2020. Katie continued their career at Brightcove as a Technical Talent Acquisition Partner from 2020 to 2021 and later served as an Interim Manager, Global Talent Acquisition from May 2021 to July 2021.

Currently, Katie works at Starry, Inc. as a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner. Katie'sresponsibilities focus on making internet access simple and accessible, particularly in underserved communities around the world. In February 2022, they were promoted to the role of Manager, Technical Talent Acquisition at the same company.

Katie O'Brien attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology.
