Erki Esken

Erki Esken is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and site reliability. Currently serving as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Starship Technologies since February 2021, Erki previously contributed as a Software Engineer at Sixfold, focusing on a transport visualization platform. As the owner of Rediscovering and the founder of Deekit, Erki provided software consulting and development services. Notably, during a nine-year tenure at Skype, Erki excelled in various roles, including User Experience Designer – Prototyping, Head of Prototyping, and Senior Web Frontend Developer, where contributions spanned across future feature prototyping and end-user-facing web applications. Erki began a career in software development at Osta.ee, Estonia's largest online auction house. Erki holds degrees from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
