John Hillis

John Hillis serves as the Vice President of Demand and Channel at Starshot Ventures Inc since December 2022, and is also a co-founder of M2T Collective, which introduced Canada's first rotational graduate program to foster empathy and communication within the marketing ecosystem. Previous roles include Chief Marketing Officer at BATL Axe Throwing, where John oversaw 200+ employees across multiple locations, and Chief Marketing Officer at Zag Bank, where John helped accumulate over $1 billion in deposits. John has held senior marketing positions at Finastra and Geosoft Inc., leading marketing strategies in diverse sectors, and has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry with Virgin Mobile and Bell Mobility. Educational credentials include an Honours BA in Political Science from the University of Toronto.
