Alice MacLennan

Alice Maclennan currently serves as an Executive Assistant at Start Network since April 2024. Previously, Alice held various leadership roles in the British Army, including Squadron Second in Command, managing 120 personnel and overseeing career management, training, and logistics. Other positions included Engineer Director supporting coalition forces in Iraq, Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and Operations Officer responsible for deploying troops. Alice's earlier experience also includes project management in the Falkland Islands and roles in administrative and customer service capacities at Persephone Books and John Lewis. Alice holds a Master's degree in Humanitarianism and Conflict Response from The University of Manchester and has undertaken various other educational pursuits, including certified training in Yoga and courses on humanitarian response.
