Sophronia Vowels

Sophronia Vowels is a Drama Teacher at Starting Arts, developing original lesson plans aligned with California VAPA standards for K-5th grade classes since December 2023. Previously, Sophronia worked as a Theatre, Dance, & Music Teacher at Building Kidz School of San Francisco, managing lesson plans across multiple schools and age groups. Experience includes a role as Communications Coordinator at Greater Green Bay Chamber Economic Development, where content for social media channels was coordinated and marketing plans executed. Sophronia has also served as an Executive Assistant in a previous position, overseeing calendar management and communications, and gained early career experience as a Communications Intern and Freelance Graphic Designer. Involvement in the arts includes participation as a Theatre Artist with About Face Theatre and project coordination for community events. Sophronia holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts from Boston University and had international exposure through studies at the National University of Singapore.
