Thanos Paraschos

Thanos Paraschos has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Thanos is the General Partner at Founderhood since 2018. Prior to that, they were the Managing Director at Startup Greece from 2015, where they organized events, ran educational programs, and supported the growth of startups. As a Co-Founder, they are involved with Startup Universe since 2021. Thanos also founded iprovidenow Ltd in 2012. Thanos has experience as a Co-Organizer of Startup Europe Week and as a Business Development Consultant at KeepItCloud. Thanos has worked as a Senior Manager at ITALMARKET.GR and as a Co-Founder at E-Market S.C., focusing on web services and partnerships. Thanos started their career with internships at ELTA and as a Merchandiser at ION Chocolates.

Thanos Paraschos has a diverse educational background. In 2018, they attended Y Combinator's Startup Investor School, where they learned the basics of seed investing. From 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Business/Managerial Economics at CIHEAM Chania. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2013, they studied Mining and Mineral Engineering, obtaining an Integrated Masters degree from the Technical University of Crete. They also attended the Oikos Winter School at Universität Witten/Herdecke in 2012, and the European Innovation Academy in the same year, where they completed an Executive Program in Innovation, Startup, and Entrepreneurship. In terms of certifications, Thanos Paraschos is a Licensed Engineer, a credential obtained from the Technical Chamber of Greece in 2019.
