Gurushankar Selvam

Gurushankar Selvam is an experienced consultant currently working with StartupTN, coordinating multiple regional hubs and programs since January 2024. In addition, Gurushankar serves as a mentor at Startup India and previously held the position of Trade and Commerce Specialist at FaMeTN, focusing on support for MSMEs. Gurushankar's extensive experience includes a significant tenure as Chief Operating Officer at NABARD MABIF, where 225 early-stage Agri and Food-based startups were incubated, and support was provided to over 300 Farmer Producer Organizations. Other notable roles include senior management positions in investment schemes, credit analysis for agricultural loans at Axis Bank and HDFC Bank, and farm management. Gurushankar holds a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, an MBA, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Extension Management.
