Abbas Zeynalli

Abbas Zeynalli has a varied work experience spanning multiple industries. Abbas started their career as an intern at the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Republic of Azerbaijan (SAM). Abbas then worked as an intern at the Haydar Aliyev Center, where they were involved in implementing projects related to science, education, health, sports, culture, and economy. Abbas also gained experience as a Research Fellow at the Topchubashov Center, conducting research and contributing to the organization's work. Abbas interned at the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, where they worked on projects related to education, culture, science, and other social spheres. Abbas also worked as a Contributing Author at Modern Diplomacy, sharing their insights and writing articles. Abbas joined Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, first as a Student Services Manager and then as an Academic Tutor. Lastly, they joined StartUs Insights as a Partnerships Manager, responsible for accessing information on innovation, emerging companies, and technologies through their discovery platform. Abbas has shown a strong interest in research, international relations, and youth development throughout their career.

Abbas Zeynalli pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in International Cooperation on Human Rights and Intercultural Heritage from Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, attending from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in International Relations from Baku State University, graduating between 2015 and 2019. Abbas also participated in various workshops and training programs, such as the International Summer School for Migration Studies in June and July 2019, the Training of Trainers (ToT) program in May 2019 focused on Education, and a workshop on "Identity and Conflict: Revisioning Relations in the EU Neighbourhood" in March 2019, which emphasized Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. In addition to their formal education, Abbas Zeynalli has obtained certifications in Managing Stress for Positive Change, One-Minute Habits for Success, and Training Your Mind to Overcome Pressure and Underperformance, all from LinkedIn, in March 2022.
