Murugan V

Murugan V has extensive work experience in the construction industry. Murugan started their career at LG Engineering, LLC in 1997 as an Execution In Charge, overseeing the construction of Four Lanning Flexible Pavements NH-25. Murugan then moved on to BSES Delhi in 2000, where they worked as a Deputy Manager, managing the construction of a 1X12.5MW CPP at Ariyalur.

In 2006, Murugan joined JMC Projects India Ltd as a Project Manager, responsible for the construction and setup of a 1X238MW CCP for IOCL Naphtha Cracker Unit at Panipat. Murugan successfully commissioned various structures, including STG & GTG Structures and Utility Boiler.

From 2009 to 2012, Murugan worked at BGR Energy Systems as a Senior Manager, involved in the construction and setup of a 1X600MW Thermal Power Plant at Salem.

Murugan then joined Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, through TATA & TQA JV in 2013 as a Construction Manager, focusing on Construction/Production Planning for 6X800MW Units. Following that, they worked at Tata Projects from 2015 to 2017 as the Head of Quality, overseeing the construction of a 2X67.5MW Thermal Power Project in Cuttack.

Murugan joined TUV India Pvt. Ltd. in 2017 as the Head of Quality-Renewable & Infra. Murugan was responsible for site operations, monitoring quality assurance and quality control, and implementing technical requirements for infrastructure and renewable services. Between 2019 and 2021, Murugan worked at SunEdison as an AGM -Projects Execution, focused on project execution in the renewable sector.

Murugan'smost recent role was as the General Manager at Cornerstone Constructions Limited from 2021 to 2023, where they held a leadership position overseeing company operations. Currently, they are the Project Head at Starworth Infrastructure and Construction Ltd, starting from August 2022.

Murugan V has a diverse educational background. Murugan obtained a Diploma in Civil Engineering from P.A.C. Ramasamy Rajas Polytechnic College in 1990. In 2015, they completed a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Civil Engineering from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore. Following this, Murugan pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on International Business at Periyar University from 2016 to 2017. Most recently, from 2019 to 2021, they pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering at IIIIER.

Murugan V also holds several additional certifications. In 2012, they completed the Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management Essentials course at CADD Centre Training Services Pvt Ltd. In 2015, they received training in PMP® Certification from the same institution. Murugan also obtained the QMS, Lead Auditor certification from TUV India Pvt. Ltd. in 2017. Murugan further enhanced their skills by achieving the Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification in 2019 from MSME-TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PPDCAGRA) and the Six Sigma Black Belt Certification - Level I in 2020, also from MSME-TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (PPDCAGRA).
