Don Hughes

Don Hughes is an experienced helicopter pilot with a career spanning over three decades in aviation and law enforcement. Currently serving as a Helicopter Pilot at Eagle Air Aviation since June 2023, Don previously held the same position at Geisinger from July 2019 to July 2023, specializing as an EMS Helicopter Pilot for Geisinger Medical Center. From November 2014 to July 2019, Don worked at STAT MedEvac as an EMS Helicopter Pilot, flying Airbus H145 and H135 models under IFR and NVG conditions. Don began an extensive career with the Pennsylvania State Police in September 1988, initially as a State Police Helicopter Pilot and Supervisor until retirement in July 2013, coupled with experience as a Pennsylvania State Trooper providing full police services across various locations in Pennsylvania.
