Crystal Milner

Crystal Milner is a picture editor at STAT and a freelance photographer. Crystal has also worked as a tutor, teaching college bound lesson plans and assisting students during homework time. In 2017, they interned at WGBH and was also a graduate teaching assistant at Boston University. From August 2017 to January 2020, they worked as a NABJ student projects photographer, photographing events taking place within the convention as well as newsworthy events developing in New Orleans. In April 2015 to October 2015, they worked as a photographer for Lifetouch Church Directories and Portraits.

Crystal Milner has a Master of Science from Boston University in Journalism and a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University in Journalism with an emphasis in Photojournalism.

Crystal Milner reports to Gideon Gil, Managing Editor. They are on a team with Karen Pennar - Night News Editor, Megan Thielking - Senior News Editor, and Ryan Fitzgerald - Assistant Social Media Editor.
