Brett Stover

Brett Stover is a seasoned journalist currently serving as a Statehouse Reporter at State Affairs since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Statehouse/General Assignment Reporter at The Journal Gazette, Editor at The Herald-Press, and Director of Social Services at Parkside Manor. Stover's background in journalism began with KCOU-FM 88.1, where a diverse range of positions were held, including News Director and Online Content Manager. Additional experience includes digital production at KOMU 8 & Mid-Missouri CW and editorial responsibilities at Bearing News and The Rock. Brett Stover holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed high school at Rock Bridge High School.
