Timothy Kotnour started their career in 2002 at JPMorgan Chase, where they worked as a Senior Vice President and Division Manager until 2004. Timothy then joined Associated Bank in 2004 and held the position of Senior Vice President and Group Segment Leader until 2015. Since 2015, they have been serving as the President and CEO of State Bank Financial.
Timothy Kotnour completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1982 and 1987. Prior to that, they attended Madison West High School and obtained their high school diploma from there in 1982.
In 2015, Timothy enrolled in the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued further education. The specific degree and field of study they completed during this time are not specified.
Additionally, Timothy also obtained two certifications. Timothy earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison - School of Business in August 2017. In October 2012, they obtained a certification in Change Management from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI, specifically in the Prosci methodology.
