Cherie Jeffries has extensive work experience in the financial industry, starting in 1994 with Brown Brothers Harriman, where they worked as an Administrative Assistant and later became a Vice President. In 2003, they joined the Florida Department of Financial Services, Division of Treasury, where they held the positions of Financial Administrator and Senior Portfolio Manager until 2012. During this time, they also served as the Chief Investment Officer and Revenue Program Administrator II. Since 2012, Cherie has been working at the Florida State Board of Administration as the Director of Fixed Income Trading.
Cherie Jeffries earned their Bachelor of Business degree from Charleston Southern University in 1990. Prior to that, they completed an Associate's degree in Business from Trident Technical College in 1988. Cherie continued their education at Charleston Southern University and obtained an MBA in Business in 1994.
