Makeba Guthrie has over three decades of experience in the field of employee assistance and crisis management. Since joining the State Compensation Insurance Fund in June 1989, Makeba has held various positions, including Senior Employee Assistance Program and Crisis Manager and Employee Assistance Program Manager, as well as working as a Claims Representative. Prior to this role, Makeba worked at Household Finance as a Customer Service Representative and at Bank of America as a Collector. Makeba earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of California, Riverside, graduating in 1988.
