Sander Robinson is an experienced Environmental Health Specialist with a comprehensive background in environmental science and education. Currently employed by the State of Illinois since July 2015, Sander conducts inspections of various food processing and dairy plants, as well as tanning and body art facilities, focusing on biological, chemical, and physical hazards, alongside specialized HACCP inspections. An adjunct faculty member at multiple institutions, including College of DuPage and Moraine Valley Community College, Sander has taught courses that enhance scientific literacy, emphasize environmental stewardship, and integrate various scientific disciplines. Sander's earlier roles include Program Manager and Outreach Coordinator at the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research and Laboratory Manager at Wayne State University. Sander holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from Michigan State University.
