Kara Biro

Kara Biro currently serves as the State Director of Behavioral Health Crisis Care for the State of Indiana, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kara Biro worked at the Little Red Door Cancer Agency from September 2017 to April 2022, holding positions as Youth Services Program Manager and Navigator / Youth Program Manager. Previous experience includes serving as a Non-profit Support Specialist at Blackbaud from September 2016 to September 2017, and working for the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services from March 2014 to September 2016 as Team Lead and Service Coordinator. Earlier in the career path, Kara Biro was a Care Coordinator at Eskenazi Health from February 2013 to March 2014. Educationally, Kara Biro earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in May 2012.
